چکیده
In this paper we present the theory of Timed Modal Specii-cations (TMS) together with its implementation, the tool Epsilon. TMS and Epsilon are timed extensions of respectively Modal Speciications 7, 9] and the Tav system 6, 4]. Also, the theory of TMS is an extension of real{timed process calculi with the speciic aim of allowing loose or partial speciications. This allows us to deene a notion of reenement, generalizing in a natural way the classical notion of bisimulation.

Timed Modal Specification - Theory and Tools
In this paper we present the theory of Timed Modal Specifications (TMS) together with its implementation, the tool Epsilon. TMS and Epsilon are timed extensions of respectively Modal Specifications [Lar90, LT88] and the Tav system [GLZ89, BLS92]. The theory of TMS is an extension of real–timed process calculi with the specific aim of allowing loose or partial specifications. Looseness of specif...
متن کاملCharacterising Combinational Timing Analyses in Intuitionistic Modal Logic
The paper presents a new logical speciication language, called Propositional Stabilisation Theory (PST), to capture the stabilisation behaviour of combinational input-output systems. PST is an intuitionistic propositional modal logic interpreted over sets of waveforms. The language is more economic than conventional speciication formalisms such as timed Boolean functions, temporal logic, or pre...
متن کاملIs Your Model Checker on Time? On the Complexity of Model Checking for Timed Modal Logics
This paper studies the structural complexity of model checking for (variations on) the speci cation formalisms used in the tools CMC and Uppaal, and fragments of a timed alternation-free μ-calculus. For each of the logics we study, we characterize the computational complexity of model checking, as well as its speci cation and program complexity, using timed automata as our system model.

There has been signiicant progress in the development of timed process algebra for the speciication and analysis of real-time systems in recent years. This chapter describes a timed process algebra, called ACSR, which supports synchronous timed actions and asynchronous instantaneous events. Timed actions model the usage of shared resources and the passage of time, whereas events allow synchroni...
